Our goal with this website is to provide a transparent chronicle of the development process behind completing Planet O-oot and bringing it to market. This is a project that has been ongoing for nearly a decade and has been delayed in the past multiple times due to external pressures. Simply put, it can be difficult to justifying the prioritization of finishing a book about a fictional setting over other more real world matters; such as earning a degree or stabilizing one’s health.
By providing updates when we can and by “showing our work”, we hope to create a moderate amount of self-imposed pressure to motivate ourselves to get back into gear and to stay on target with getting this done. We also hope to possibly serve as a bit of inspiration to anyone who’s looked back at a forgotten project and worried it might be ‘too late’ to fore-fill their creative dreams.
